top 5 best relievers to target for your 2019 fantasy baseball draft

Hey Y’all how is everyone doing on this fine ass tuesday? I hope everyone is getting ready for the upcoming work/school week. So I haven’t done a post in well over two weeks. While I am sorry for the absence on my blog and wished I had kept up with my blogging. I can assure you that my absence was not a result of laziness but due to the fact that my laptop recently broke so, I haven’t had anything to do any blogging on. But my dad has recently given me his laptop to borrow in the meantime until I get a new one.

So either way, since it has been a while since I have done my top 5 best players at each position to target for your fantasy baseball draft for the very close and upcoming 2019 MLB season. Now i know by now that almost everybody (myself included) has already done there fantasy draft. The 2019 season has already begun with the Seattle Mariners and the Oakland Athletics. Having already have played the first two games of the 2019 MLB season on March 20th and March 21st in Tokyo Japan. With the Mariners winning both games for a quick two-game international series to get the 2019 MLB season going.

The official 2019 MLB season is starting this Thursday the 28th of March. When all 30 MLB teams (the Mariners and Athletics included) will all play together to officially break in the 2019 MLB season. As I said before I know that almost everyone has already had their draft. But i want to finish what i started and wrap this series up. Also please note that I had talked about the 5 best starting pitchers to target for your fantasy baseball draft for the 2019 MLB season a little while ago.

So that’s why I skipped starting pitchers and went straight to relievers. (I know I was going in chronological order before so if you have been following my posts as of recently this might seem confusing for you). So enough chitchat how about we jump right into this. So without further adieu here are the top 5 best relievers to target for you’re 2019 fantasy baseball draft.

1.Image result for edwin diaz gifsNew York Mets Relief Pitcher Edwin Diaz: Okay first guy on the list is the one and only Edwin Diaz. Edwin is coming off an absolutely killer 2018 Season with the Seattle Mariners where he led the MLB in saves, was named the AL reliever of the year and made it to his first all-star game. At just 24 years old he is extremely young and agile. So between his absolutely killer 2018 season and him being so young, there is very little downside to drafting him. Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have listed him as being drafted in the 5th round of fantasy baseball drafts. And I most definitely agree with them on that one. Last year Edwin really established himself as the premier number one reliever currently in the MLB.

And I would no question take him in the 5th round if he was available. Edwin pitched in 73 games with the Mariners. Getting an 0-4 record, a 1.96 ERA, 57 saves, 61 save opportunities, 124 strikeouts and an a 0.79 WHIP. Edwin also got a stellar 44.3 strikeout percentage, a 7.29 strikeout to walk ratio and 15.22 strikeout per every 9 innings pitched. Along with a 1.61 FIP, a 1.78 xFIP, 1.49 SIERRA and a 3.5 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Seattle Mariners. FantasyPros projects Edwin will get a 4-3 record, 37 saves, 102 strikeouts, a 2.43 ERA and an 0.97 WHIP for the upcoming 2019 MLB season.

2. Image result for blake treinen gifsOakland Athletics Relief Pitcher Blake Treinen: Okay the second guy on the list is the one and only Blake Treinen. Blake just like Edwin is coming off of a red hot 2018 season with him making it to his first ever all-star game appearance. Blake is 30 years old and is entering into his 6th year in the MLB having made his MLB debut back in 2014. FantastyPros currently has Blake Ranked as the second best relief pitcher in fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season Online and in print, mock fantasy baseball drafts have put up blake as being selected into the 5th round.

I would also definitely agree with that. Blake is definitely in that elite class of relievers heading into the 2019 season and I would recommend going after blake anywhere in the 5th to 7th round of your fantasy draft. For the 2018 season, Blake pitched in 68 games with the Athletics. Getting an amazing 9-2 record, 0.78 ERA, a 0.83 WHIP, 38 saves and 100 strikeouts.

Blake also got an outstanding 31.8 strikeout percentage, 11.20 strikeouts per every 9 innings pitched and a 4.76 strikeout to walk ratio. As well as a 1.82 FIP, a 2.42 xFIP, a 2.46 SIERRA and a 3.6 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Oakland Athletics. FantasyPros currently projects Blake will get a 4-3 record, 33 saves, 83 strikeouts, a 2.73 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP

3. Image result for aroldis chapman gifsNew York Yankees Relief Pitcher Aroldis Chapman: Okay the third guy on the list is the one and only Aroldis “the Cuban missile” Chapman. I know it may seem I am being a little biased by putting Aroldis up on this list with him being the Yankees closer and me loving the Yankees like Pope Francis loves Catholicism. But I swear that isn’t the case.

Aroldis has definitely earned himself a spot on this list. Aroldis is coming off another amazing season with him having made it to his 5th all-star game appearance in 2018. FantasyPros currently has Aroldis ranked as the 4th best relief pitcher in fantasy baseball heading into the upcoming 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have put up Aroldis as getting drafted in the 6th round of fantasy baseball drafts. Me personally i would definitely recommend getting aroldis anywhere in the 6-10th round. Aroldis Pitched in 55 games for the Yankees in 2018. Getting a 3-0 record, a 2.45 ERA, 32 saves, 34 save opportunities, 93 strikeouts and a 1.05 WHIP in 2018.

Aroldis also got an amazing 43.9 strikeout percentage, 16.31 strikeouts per every 9 innings pitched and a 3.10 strikeout to walk ratio. Along with a 2.09 FIP, a 2.58 xFIP, a 2.51 SIERRA and a 2.0 WAR for the 2018 season with the New York Yankees. FantasyPros projects Aroldis will get a 3-2 record, 34 saves, 92 strikeouts, a 2.63 ERA and 1.09 WHIP for the 2019 season with the New York Yankees

4. Image result for kenley jansen gifsLos Angeles Dodgers Relief Pitcher Kenley Jansen: Okay second to last guy on the list is the one and only Kenley Jansen. Kenley is 31 years old and is heading into his 9th year in the MLB. Kenley is coming off an another solid season in 2019. Not nearly as good as his 2017 season where he lead the NL in saves, Pitched an immaculate inning and was named the NL reliever of the year. But it was still a pretty damn amazing season. Kenley made it to his 3rd all-star game appearance in 2019.

FantasyPros currently has Kenley ranked as the third-best relief pitcher in fantasy baseball for the 2019 MLB season. Online and Mock fantasy baseball drafts have put up Kenley as going in the 7th-10th round in the draft. Me personally I would recommend taking him in the 8th round. While he is an elite reliever he isn’t at the same level as Edwin Diaz or Blake Treinen are in fantasy baseball for 2019. For the 2018 season, Kenley pitched in 69 games with the Dodgers.

Getting a 1-5 record, 38 saves, 42 save opportunities, a 3.01 ERA, 82 strikeouts and a 0.99 WHIP. Kenley also put up a sensational 28.4 strikeout percentage, a 4.82 strikeout to walk ratio and 10.30 strikeouts per every 9 innings pitched. Kenley also got a solid 4.03 FIP, a 3.56 xFIP, a 2.97 SIERRA and an 0.3 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Los Angeles Dodgers. For the 2019 MLB season FantasyPros projects Kenley will get a 4-3 record, 38 saves, 82 strikeouts, a 2.92 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP for the 2019 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

5.Image result for felipe vazquez gifs Pittsburgh Pirates Relief Pitcher Felipe Vazquez: Okay last but not least on this list is the only Felipe Vazquez. Felipe is 27 years old and is heading into his 5th year in the MLB having made his MLB debut with the Washington Nationals in 2015. Felipe is coming off an amazing season in 2018 with him having made it to the all-star game for the first time in 2018. FantasyPros has Felipe listed as the 7th best reliever in fantasy baseball for the 2019 MLB season. Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have him listed as going in the 10th round of fantasy baseball drafts.

And I definitely have to agree with them on that. Felipe is a great pick to go after in the 10th round. Felipe pitched in 70 games with the pirates in 2018. Getting a fantastic 4-2 record, 37 saves, 42 save opportunities, 89 strikeouts, a 2.70 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. Felipe also got a pretty dope 30.1 strikeout percentage, a 3.71 strikeout to walk ratio and 11.44 strikeouts per every 9 innings pitched. Along with a 2.43 FIP, a 3.06 xFIP, a 2.95 SIERRA and a 2.1 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. FantasyPros projects Felipe will get a 4-3 record, 34 saves, 84 strikeouts, a 2.86 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP for the upcoming 2019 MLB season with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Top 5 reasons why Mike Trout is worth every penny of the 12-year 426 million dollar contract

Image result for mike trout wallpaper

Hey y’all how is everyone doing on this fine ass Friday Night? So baseball is finally here. Yesterday was the official opening day for all 30 MLB teams. I was happy to be able to attend Yankees opening day yesterday and see my Yankees beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-2 at Yankee Stadium. But enough about talking about opening day. I want to talk about Mike Trout. Now I know that it isn’t recent news that he signed a 12 year $426 million contract with the Angels on March 20th.

I have been super bad about blogging recently so i have been procasting big time and puting off publishing this post for the longest time. But i want to finish what i started and finish this post. So now the 12-year 426 million dollar contract is the largest in the history of North American professional sports. Now there are some people who say this is too much. And they also doubt if he is truly worth that amount of money.

So if there are still any doubters of mike trouts excellence and whether he deserves this much money I am gonna give you 5 reasons that will surely change your mind. So enough chitchat how about we jump right into this. So without further adieu here are the top 5 reasons why Mike Trout is worth every penny of the 12-year 426 million dollar contract.

1. Image result for mike trout accomplishmentsMike has already racked up more accomplishments in his 8 year MLB career then most MLB players could ever fathom: since making his MLB debut on July 8th, 2011 with the Angels mike has already. Made it to the all-star game 7 times and was named MVP for two of those all-star games (2014 and 2015), he has won 6 silver slugger awards and was named the AL MVP twice. In 2012 Mike was also named the 2012 AL rookie of the year, led the American League in stolen bases and became a member of the 30-30 club.

In 2014 Mike won the AL Hank Aaron award in 2014 and led the AL in RBIs that same year. Other Notable achievements by mike were him being named the American League player of the month 4 times in his career, being named MLB player of the year by Baseball America two years in a row in 2012 and 2013 and hitting for the cycle on May 21st, 2013 against the Seattle Mariners.

2. Image result for mike trout statsWhen it comes to producing stats Mike is already in a league of his own: Okay so in a 7-year time span from mikes first full season in the MLB in 2012 and to his most recent one in 2018. Mike currently leads all MLB players since 2012 in runs, weighted runs created, weighted runs created plus, weighted runs above average, weighted on-base percentage and WAR. With 773 runs, 903 weighted runs created, 174 weighted runs created plus, 385.9 weighted runs above average, a 420 WOBA and a 64.2 WAR since 2012.

Mike also currently leads all active MLB players in career slugging percentage with a .573 career slugging percentage, career on-base plus slugging percentage with a .990 career OPS and career stolen base percentage with an 84.75 career stolen base percentage. Mike is even second in career on-base percentage right next to Cincinnati Reds First Baseman Joey Votto with a .916 career OPS

3. Related imageFranchise players who spend their entire career with one team are getting harder and harder to come by nowadays: Mike is currently 27 years old and since the contract 12 years that will take him into the 2030 season when it expires. Mike will be 39 years old. So it’s likely that at 39 years old he won’t be able to play like he could 27 years old right now. Making it unlikely that he will want to continue playing after the contract is over and sign a free agent contract with the angels or even another team.

So most likely Mike signed this contract with the goal of not just becoming a franchise player for the angels. But the face of a franchise player for the angels. As of 2019 19,107 men have played in the MLB. This is dating back to 1871 when the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players was formed ( the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players was a predecessor to the MLB and the first-ever professional baseball organization in US history). Out of those 19,107 players only 177 have spent their entire career with just one team.

That is approximately 0.92 percent of all MLB players in history that have spent their entire career with just one team. Of those 177 players. 54 of them are currently in the hall of fame. With free agency and opt-out clauses in contracts as well as players wanting to go the team that will offer them the most money. Franchise players are now becoming more and more of a rare oddity to see. I was very fortunate enough to get to watch Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera and Jorge Posada play with the Yankees growing up.

Three superstar players who spent their entire career in pinstripes. And those three were always a blast to watch and really were a huge part of my youth where I cannot tell you the number of times I should have been studying but choose to watch them play instead. The beauty of franchise players is that they really become a part of not just the team. But the City where the team plays in as well.

You grow super found of them due to the fact that each season you see so many players some of which you love to see playing and some which you hate. But none the less each season you see so many players come and go throughout the 162 game season that it becomes hard to keep track. So to have a player that you know is gonna be in that starting lineup every day when you tune in to watch your favorite team really is a good thing.

4. Image result for mike trout mickey mantleHis Stats Line Up with all of the greats: Okay in the first 8 years In mikes Trout career from 2011-2018. He played in 1085 and has gotten 3870 at-bats. And in those games and at-bats, he has gotten 1187 hits, 793 runs, 240 HRs, 648 RBIs, 189 stolen bases, 2219 total bases, and 508 extra base hits. Along with a .307/.416/.573 slash line and .990 OPS from 2011-2018. You know who also had similar stats people like legendary Hall of fame outfielders Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, and Willie Mays. Let’s start off first with New York Yankees Center Fielder Mickey Mantle.

In the first 8 years of Mickey Mantle career from his first season in 1951 when he made his MLB debut at the age of 19 to his 8th season in the MLB in 1958 at the age of 26. Mickey played in 1102 games and had gotten 3937 at-bats. And in those games and at-bats, Mickey had gotten 1238 hits, 890 runs, 249 HRs, 766 RBIs, 77 stolen bases, 2270 total bases, and 484 extra base hits. Along with a .314/.430/.577 slash line and a 1.066 OPS in the first 8 years of his career. Next, up is a hall of fame left fielder and the face of the Boston Red Sox franchise left fielder Ted Williams.

Ted played his first 8 seasons in the MLB from 1939-1949 ( he didn’t play in the MLB from 1943-1945 due to military service in the US Navy and the USMC in WW2). In those 8 seasons, Ted played in 1184 games and had gotten 4221 at-bats. Getting 1488 hits, 1082 runs, 265 HRs, 1038 RBIs, 16 stolen bases, 2709 total bases, and 635 extra base hits. Along with a .353/.488/.642 slash line and a 1.130 in his first 8 years of his career. Last but not least is the one and only baseball god and probably the second best baseball player of all time the only legendary hall of fame Center fielder Willie Mays.

Willie spent the bulk of his career with the New York/ San Francisco Giants and then spent the final two years of his career with the New York Mets. Willie played his first 8 MLB seasons with the New York/San Francisco Giants from 1951-1959 (he missed all of the 1953 MLB season due to service with the Us Army) in that time Willie played in 1065 games and got 4074 at-bats. And in those games and at-bats, he got 1291 hits, 777 runs, 250 HRs, 709 RBIs, 179 stolen bases, 2403 total bases, and 533 extra base hits. Along with a .317/.391/.590 slash line and a .981 OPS in Willie Mays first 8 years of his career.

5. Related imageMike has managed to stay consistent and healthy so far in his time in the MLB: Okay one thing I think all of us can agree on is that a true value of his player is not how he does in a season. But how he does in a course of several seasons. There are two things that keep players in the MLB and not in the minors. One is for a player to consistently be able to perform to the best of his abilities and be able to excel on the field and help there team win games. The other is for him to be able to remain healthy.

Well so far in Mikes career he has been able to do both. In mikes Current ongoing career since 2012 his first full season in the MLB. Of the past 7 seasons from 2012-2018 Mike has played in over 155 games in a season for 4 of those seasons. Mike has only had one season where he dealt with injuries. Which was in 2017 when he needed surgery for his thumb after spraining it in game. Mike ended up missing 39 games of the 2017 season and only played in 114 games in 2017.

However, he still managed to make the all-star game in 2017 and led the American League in on-base percentage, slugging percentage and led the MLB in OPS in 2017. Baseball reference has calculated Mikes season average stats per a 162 game average ( a stat which is used to condense a single batter worth of stats per season average by diving all of there career games played by 162 and then dividing their career totals by 162 as well). Mike has gotten 181 hits, 121 runs, 36 HRs, 98 RBIs, 29 stolen bases and 337 total bases. Along with a .307/.416/.573 slash line and a .990 OPS  per a 162 game average.

top 5 best outfielders to target for youre fantasy draft part 2

Hey Y’all how is everyone doing on this fine ass Friday morning. I hope everyone is getting ready and has made plans or is about to make plans for the weekend because it is finally here #TGIF. So in baseball news the MLB, only active knuckleball pitcher Steven Wright who pitches for the Boston Red Sox has been suspended for 80 games. His suspension is the result of performance enhancing drugs which strictly ( and rightfully so) goes against MLB policy. In New York Yankees news both there Ace and Veteran starting pitcher Luis Severino and CC Sabathia are both out with injuries. Luis Severino is out for two weeks with shoulder inflammation and CC Sabathia.

But enough of that i want to continue my top 5 best players at each position to target for you’re fantasy draft. I have been slacking on my posts as of late so. And my last post was made about a week ago so I gotta get back on the blogging horse. So since my last post was the first part of a two-part post series on the best outfielders to target for you’re fantasy baseball draft. I thought that it only made my sense that I continue with it and give you the second part of the two-part series. So enough chitchat how about we jump right into this. So without further adieu here are the top 5 best outfielders to target for you’re fantasy baseball draft

1Image result for aaron judge gif New York Yankees Right Fielder Aaron Judge: Okay the first guy on the list is the one and only Aaron Judge. Aaron is 26 years old and is entering into his 4th season in the MLB and his third full season with him having made his MLB debut in August of 2016. Aaron had a historic rookie season in the MLB back in 2017 with him not only unanimously winning the 2017 AL Rookie of the year award. But also setting the record for most home runs in a season by a rookie with 52. Aaron had a bit of a sophomore slump in 2018. Which is mainly caused by the fact that he missed two months of the season after being hit by a 93 MPH fastball in his right wrist. Aaron Made it to his second all-star game appearance in a row in 2018.

And while I seriously doubt that his 2019 season will be as good as his 2017 season I still think he has a lot of potential for the upcoming 2019 season. FantasyPros currently has Aaron ranked as the 7th best outfielder in fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season. Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have Aaron listed as getting selected late in the second round. And I would definitely agree with that. Me personally I would take Aaron anywhere between the 8-12th pick in the second round. Aaron played 112 games in 2018 with the Yankees.

Getting 115 hits, 77 runs, 27 HRs, 67 RBIs, 218 total bases, 49 extra base hits, 89 weighted runs created, 31.0 weighted runs above average and 149 weighted runs created plus. Aaron also got a pretty dope .278/.392/.528 slash line in 2018. Along with .919 OPS, a .249 isolated power, a 3.0 speed score, a .368 BABIP, a 1.2 UBR, a .391 WOBA and a 5.0 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the New York Yankee. Fantasypros Projects Aaron will get 38 HRs, 98 RBIs, 138 hits and 102 runs. Along with a .267/.382/.540 slash line and .921 OPS for the 2019 MLB season with the New York Yankees.

2. Image result for charlie blackmon gifs Colorado Rockies Center Fielder Charlie Blackmon: Okay the second guy on the list is the one and only Charlie Blackmon. Charlie is 32 years old and is heading into his 9th season in the MLB. While Charlie had a really amazing season in 2018 with him making it to his third all-star game appearance and hitting for the cycle on September 30th against the Washington Nationals. It still was nowhere nearly as good as his 2017 season with the Rockies when he not only made it to the all-star game but also winning the silver slugger award and being named the 2017 NL batting champion. FantasyPros currently has Charlie ranked as the 9th best outfielder for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print magazines have charlie going early in the third round. Like as the first overall pick in the third round. That is something I once again definitely agree with them on. Just Like with Aaron, I doubt Charlie will be playing like he did in 2017. However, he is a hard third round player and someone who can help you win big in fantasy baseball. So if you have the opportunity to draft him in the third round please do take him. Charlie played in 156 games with the Rockies in 2018. Getting 182 hits, 119 runs, 29 HRs, 70 RBIs, 314 total bases, 67 extra base hits, 111 weighted runs created, 30.1 weighted runs above average and 116 weighted runs created plus.

Charlie also put up a pretty rock solid .291/.358/.502 slash line in 2018. Along with a .860 OPS, a .211 isolated power, a 6.1-speed score, a .329 BABIP, a 1.2 UBR, a .368 WOBA and a 2.8 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Colorado Rockies. FantasyPros projects Charlie will get 28 HRs, 79 RBIs, 176 hits and 107 runs. Along with a .296/.356/.514 slash line and a .870 OPS for the upcoming 2019 MLB season with the Colorado Rockies.

3. Image result for andrew benintendi gifs Boston Red Sox Left Fielder Andrew Benintendi: Okay third guy on the list is the one and only Andrew Benintendi. Andrew is 24 years old and just like Aaron is heading into his 4th season in the MLB and his third full season in the MLB. Andrew is coming of a red hot 2018 season helping lead the red sox to there 9th franchise world series title and earning himself his first world series ring. FantasyPros currently has Alex ranked as the 10th best outfielder in fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season. Online and in print fantasy baseball mock drafts have Andrew being put up as a third round player. I would have to agree with them on this.

While Andrew isn’t exactly a 30 plus home run player he is a strong hitter who can put up a high batting average so I would take Andrew in the mid-third round in your fantasy draft. Andrew Played in 148 games with the Red Sox in 2018. Getting 168 hits, 103 runs, 16 HRs, 87 RBIs, 269 total bases, 69 extra base hits, 100 weighed runs created, 23.0 weighted run above average and 122 weighted runs created plus. Andrew also put put up an amazing .290/.366/.465 slash line in 2018. Along with a .830 OPS, a .174 isolated power, a 6.7 speed score, a .328 BABIP, a 0.3 UBR, a .357 WOBA and a 4.3 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Boston Red Sox. FantasyPros projects that Andrew will get get 18 HRs, 84 RBIs, 167 hits and 99 runs. Along with a .286/.363/.465 slash line and a .828 for the upcoming 2019 MLB season.

4.  Washington Nationals Left Fielder Juan Soto: Okay the second to the last guy on the list is the one and only Juan Soto. Juan is the youngest guy on this list at just 20 years old having been born in 1998. Juan made his MLB debut in last year on may 20th with the Washington Nationals. Juan had a really amazing season last year and really entered into his MLB career with a bang. FantasyPros currently has Juan ranked as the 12th best outfielder for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season. Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have Juan being drafted in the third round. Me personally i would take Juan in the late second round like 8th-12th pick.

He is a VERY young guy and with him playing a full season there is no saying what he could accomplish in 2019. Juan Played in 166 games with the Nationals in 2018. Getting 121 hits, 77 runs, 22 HRs, 70 RBIs, 214 total bases, 48 extra base hits, 89 weighted runs created, 31.1 weighted runs above average and 146 weighted runs created plus. Juan also put up a pretty fantastic .292/.406/.517 slash line in 2018. As well as a .923 OPS, a .225 isolated power, a 3.5 speed score, a .338 BABIP, a 2.0 UBR, a .392 WOBA and a 3.7 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Washington Nationals. FantasyPros projects Juan will get 29 HRs, 97 RBIs, 157 hits and 95 runs. As well as a 291/.393/.520 slash line and a .913 OPS for the upcoming 2019 MLB season with the Washington Nationals.

5. Image result for starling marte gif Pittsburgh Pirates Center Fielder Starling Marte: Okay last but not least on this list is the one and only Starling Marte. Starling is 30 years old and is heading into his 8th season in the MLB. Starling is coming off a pretty great season in 2018. Starling is known for being able to steal bases and last year he stole 33 bases. Since 2013 he along with Shortstop Jean Segura are the only two MLB players to have stolen more than 20 bases a year each season. FantasyPros currently has Starling ranked as the 13th best outfielder for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season. Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have Starling listed as being selected in either the third or fourth round.

Me personally i would go after Starling somewhere in the 4th round. While he isn’t a power hitter he is a good base runner and can steal bases which has become kind of a lost art in the MLB for a long time. Starling played in 145 games with the Pirates in 2018. Getting 155 hits, 81 runs, 20 HRs, 72 RBIs, 257 total bases, 57 extra base hits, 82 weighted runs created, 11.0 weighted runs above average and 113 weighted runs created plus. top 5 best outfielders to target for youre fantasy draft part 2

top 5 best relievers to target for you’re 2019 fantasy baseball drafts

Hey Y’all how is everyone doing on this fine ass Sunday?

1. Image result for edwin diaz gifs New York Mets Relief Pitcher Edwin Diaz: Okay first guy on the list is the one and only Edwin Diaz.

2. Image result for blake treinen gifs Oakland Athletics Relief Pitcher Blake Treinen: Okay the second guy on the list is the one and only Blake Treinen.

3. Image result for aroldis chapman gifs New York Yankees Relief Pitcher Aroldis Chapman: Okay the third guy on the list is the one and only Aroldis “the Cuban missile” Chapman.

4. Image result for kenley jansen gifs Los Angeles Dodgers Relief Pitcher Kenley Jansen: Okay second to last guy on the list is the one and only Kenley Jansen.

5. Image result for felipe vazquez gifs Pittsburgh Pirates Relief Pitcher Felipe Vazquez: Okay last but not least on this list is the only Felipe Vazquez.

FantasyPros projects Felipe will get a 4-3 record, 34 saves, 84 strikeouts, a 2.86 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP for the upcoming 2019 MLB season with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

top 5 best outfielders to target for your 2019 fantasy baseball draft part one

Hey Y’all how is everyone doing on this fine ass Thursday night? I hope everyone has a lot of good plans for there upcoming weekend. So tomorrow makes the first day of March which is the month when the MLB regular season officially begins. In fact, come tomorrow it will be just 20 days before the MLB season begins since the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Angels are playing a two-game international series in Japan on March 20th and 22nd. The Offical opening day for all 30 MLB teams for the 2019 MLB regular season will start on Thursday, March 28th. So in other baseball news. Bryce Harper has finally signed with a team.

Today he signed a 13 year 330 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. Bryce is 26 now so the contract will take him into the 2032 MLB season when he is 39 years old. Another big singing was Colorado Rockies superstar third baseman Nolan Arendao signing an 8 year 260 million dollar contract extension with the Rockies. So enough of that either way I want to continue with all of you my fantasy baseball top 5 best players at each position to target for you’re draft.

This post is the first part of the two-part posts on the best outfielders to target for your fantasy draft. Now I know I previously listed three of the guys here as the top 5 best hitters to target for you’re fantasy draft. But those 3 guys are so good I am gonna mention them twice in my 2019 fantasy baseball draft advise series. So enough chitchat how about we jump right into this. So without further adieu here are the top 5 best outfielders to target for you’re fantasy baseball draft part one.

1. Image result for mike trout gifs Los Angeles Angels Center Fielder Mike Trout: Okay first guy on the list is the one and only Mike “The Millville Meteor” Trout. Mike is 27 years old and is heading into his 9th MLB season with the Los Angeles Angels. Mike Trout is currently the number one best overall hitter in the MLB. Mike is also coming off another sensational season like usual with him making it to his seventh all-star game appearance in a row and winning his sixth silver slugger award. FantasyPros currently ranks Mike as the number one outfielder overall for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print fantasy baseball mock drafts unanimously not only have mike going early in the first round but as the first overall pick overall in fantasy baseball drafts. Me personally I have to say that if you have the first overall pick ( Which is pretty much the only way you could get Mike Trout) please do take him and please do not even in a million years think about taking anyone else. His off years are the average players career-best all-star years. Mike played 140 games with the angels in 2018. Getting 147 hits, 101 runs, 39 HRs, 79 RBIs, 296 total bases, 67 extra base hits, 136 weighted runs created, 65.4 weighted runs above average and 191 weighted runs created plus.

Mike’s slash line in 2018 was also nothing short of breathtaking. With him putting up a .312/.460/.628 slash line and 1.088 OPS in 2018. Along with a .316 isolated power, a 5.9 speed score, a .346 BABIP, a 0.0 UBR, a .447 WOBA and a 9.8 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Los Angeles Angels. FantasyPros projects that Mike will get 39 HRs, 102 RBIs, 156 hits, 115 runs along with a 308/.441/.614 slash line and 1.055 OPS for the 2019 MLB season with the Los Angeles Angels.

2. Image result for Mookie Betts gifs Boston Red Sox Right Fielder Mookie Betts: Okay second guy on the list is the one and only Mookie Betts. To say Mookie had a phenomenal season in 2018 would be a gross understatement. Mookie made it to his third straight all-star game appearance in a row, was named the 2018 AL MVP, the 2018 AL Batting Champion, became a member of the 30-30 club, won his third straight gold glove award in a row, his second silver slugger award, hit for the cycle on August 9th against the Toronto blue jays and helped lead the Boston red sox to there 9th franchise world title and earned his first career world series ring in 2018 with the Sox. FantasyPros currently has Mookie ranked as the 2nd best outfielder overall for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print fantasy baseball mock drafts have put up as a Mookie not only as a first round player. But being elected second overall in fantasy baseball drafts. I personally definitely agree with them on that one. And if I had the second overall pick n a fantasy draft I would faster then the speed of light draft Mookie. And you should to he won’t let you down I guarantee it. Mookie played in 136 games with the Red Sox in 2018. Getting 180 hits, 129 runs, 32 HRs, 80 RBIs, 333 total bases, 84 extra base hits, 139 weighted runs created, 67.2 weighted runs above average and 185 weighted runs created plus.

Mookie also put up an absolutely LETHAL slash line in 2018. With a .346/.438/.640 slash line and 1.079 OPS in 2018. Mookie also got a killer .294 isolated power, a 7.0 speed score, a .368 BABIP, a 2.7 UBR, a .449 WOBA and a 10.4 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Boston Red Sox. FantasyPros projects that Mookie will get 30 HRs, 95 RBIs, 182 hits and 118 runs. Along with a .308/.389/.549 slash line and a .937 OPS for the upcoming 2019 MLB season with the Boston Red Sox

3. Image result for christian yelich brewers gifs Milwaukee Brewers Left Fielder Christian Yelich: Okay the third guy on the list is the one and only Christian Yelich. Right next to Mookie Betts Christian had the best season in the MLB and the best season in the National League in 2018. Christian Made it to his first all-star game appearance in 2018, was named the 2018 NL MVP, NL Batting Champion, he hit for the cycle twice in 2018 once on August 29th and then on September 17th both against the Cinncanti Reds. Christian also won the 2018 NL Hank Aaron Award and his second silver slugger award in 2018. FantasyPros currently has Christian ranked as the 4th best outfielder for fantasy baseball heading into the upcoming 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print mock fantasy baseball drafts have put Christian up as a late first-round pick to very early second round pick. Me personally I would take Christian 6th overall. I mean the dude had a killer season in 2018 and he really only started to become a superstar in the second half. He really is someone that you should definitely jump on if you have the opportunity to draft him in the first round. Christian played 147 games with the Brewers in 2018.

Getting 187 hits, 118 runs, 36HRs, 110 RBIs, 343 total bases, 77 extra base hits, 133 weighted runs created, 57.0 weighted runs above average and 166 weighted runs created plus. Christian also put up a superb .326/.402/.598 slash line and a 1.000 OPS in 2018. Along with a .272 isolated power, a 6.8-speed score, a .373 BABIP, a 4.2 UBR, a .422 WOBA and a 7.6 WAR for the 2018 MLB season with the Milwaukee Brewers. 4. Image result for ronald acuna gifs Atlanta Braves Left Fielder Ronald Acuña Jr: Okay second to last guy on the list is the one and only Ronald Acuna Jr. Ronald is not only coming off of an amazing season in 2018 but also an exceptionally amazing debut rookie season. heading into the 2018 MLB season Ronald was ranked as number one MLB prospect by Baseball America and boy did he sure live up to that ranking. Ronald made his MLB debut with the Braves on April 25th, 2018 and definitely did not disappoint in 2018. Despite only playing 111 games with the Braves in 2018 due to injuries. Ronald had a truly fantastic season in 2018 being named the 2018 NL rookie of the Year. FantasyPros currently has Ronald ranked as the 5th best outfielder for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print fantasy baseball mock drafts have put up Ronald being selected anywhere from the mid-first round to the mid-second round. Personally, I would take Ronald in the middle of the second round like as the 6th pick in a fantasy draft. Provided that he can stay healthy I really think Ronald can be a true superstar in fantasy baseball in 2019. So you really should consider taking him in your fantasy draft if you have the chance. In the 111 games Ronald played in 2018 with the Braves he did some pretty impressive stuff. Like getting 127 hits, 78 runs, 26 HRs, 64 RBIs, 239 total bases, 56 extra base hits, 86 weighted runs created, 28.9 weighted runs above average and a 143 weighted runs created plus.

5. Image result for bryce harper gif Philadelphia Phillies Right Fielder Bryce Harper: Okay last but not least on the list is the one and only Bryce Harper. As I mentioned before Bryce has just recently signed a 13 year 330 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Phillies. 2019 will be Bryce first season with a new team. Having previously spent the last 7 seasons from 2012-2018 with the Washington Nationals. Bryce is coming off a very solid 2018 season. Having made it to his 4th all-star game appearance in a row and winning the home run derby in 2018. FantasyPros currently has Bryce ranked as the 6th best outfielder for fantasy baseball heading into the 2019 MLB season.

Online and in print fantasy baseball mock drafts have put up Bryce as a second-round player. I definitely would agree with them on that. I definitely agree with them on that. And me personally I would take Bryce early on in the second round like as the 3rd overall pick in the second round. I also would not rule out taking him in the first round but only in the late first round like anywhere from 9th-12th overall in the first round. Bryce played in 159 game with Nationals in 2018. Getting 137 hits, 103 runs 34 HRs, 100 RBIs, 273 total bases, 68 extra base hits, 116 weighted runs created, 34.6 weighted runs above average and 135 weighted runs created plus.
